This session will provide information about PND, so you know how to recognise the symptoms and be able to make a 'game plan' so that you can get back to your best self. Partners and babies are welcome as they may be affected too.

    Kaupapa Māori Antenatal and Kaiāwhina Education (M.A.K.E) is a hui for pregnant māori women and their whānau support, a compact course held on a marae or elsewhere in the community. birthEd Kaiāwhina draws from today’s Māori culture, incorporating ancestral māori cultural birth stories, beliefs and connection through whakapapa and genealogy. The course will share current childbirth and early parenting knowledge, with key baby safety messages. It empowers women to make informed decisions for themselves.
